Dr. Burkley is an International Instructor in Maternity Care and is a Clinical Instructor for the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He is the Physician Advisor for Monarch Ski Patrol (since 1999). Dr. Burkley was voted 2009 and 2010 Best Physician in the Best of Salida Reader’s Choice Poll. He is proficient in Spanish (Se habla Espańol.).
Matt and his wife, Lezlie, moved to Colorado in 1994 and to Salida in 1997. They have two children. Ethan was born in 2000 and their daughter Quinn was born in 2002. Lezlie is a Marketing and Public Relations Consultant.
Personal interests include time with family, skiing, biking, gardening, and travel.
